Valrhona is one of the top producers of premium chocolate in France.
The company dates back to 1922 when it was established in the small town of Tain-l'Hermitage in Hermitage, near Lyon.
It was founded by the pastry chef, Alberic Guironnet, from the Rhone valley, hence the name Valrhona.
