Neuchatel Chocolate |
|
Neuchatel is made from high quality ingredients.
Using some of the best beans in equatorial Africa, Neuchatel chocolate has an exceptionally high cocoa bean content,
resulting in dark chocolate that is 80% cocoa bean, nearly twice that found in most other chocolate.

Whether Neuchatel products can truly be described as Swiss is open to interpretation. They are produced in the USA at
Neuchatel's factory in Oxford, Pennsylvania. However they are crafted from high quality imported Swiss ingredients. It is this
requirement to use Swiss raw materials that allows the company to use the name Neuchatel, taken from the Swiss city renowned for producing
premium Swiss chocolate.
Production also involves Swiss expertise. All products are handmade by a 5th generation Swiss chocolatier, Albert A. Lauber,
from Achseten, Switzerland, near Bern. Albert has been making chocolate since the age of 16 and learned his trade at some of the
finest chocolate shops in Switzerland (including Chocolaterie Arn and Sprenger in Geneva and
the renowned Confiserie Abegglen in Bern). "Al", as he is known, has been hand-crafting chocolate for Neuchatel for
over 20 years now. |
