Charbonnel et Walker Chocolates |

Charbonnel et Walker was established in 1875. One of Britain's oldest chocolatiers,
it was a partnership between Mrs Walker and Mme. Charbonnel, the latter from the Parisian chocolate house Maison Boissier.
This partnership lasted only three years, being dissolved on 16 April 1878 However, Mrs Walker carried on by herself up until
her death on 8 June 1883.

Having started out with a shop in New Bond Street in London's Mayfair the company now has a shop in the Royal Arcade in Old Bond Street as well as
shops in other prestigious locations such as Canary Wharf and New York, Cafe Charbonnel on 5th Avenue, New York. It also has the honour
of being endorsed by the Royal Warrant making the company chocolate manufacturers to Her Majesty The Queen.
Charbonnel et Walker chocolates are made by hand, at their long-established home in Royal Tunbridge Wells, using original recipes. |
