Green & Black's Organic Chocolate |
|
Green and Black's is a British chocolate company that
prides itself on producing eco-friendly premium organic chocolate. It was established in 1991 by
Craig Sams, founder of the oranic food company Whole Earth, and his wife, environment columnist for The Times,
Josephine Fairley.

The story of Green & Black's chocolate began when Sams was sent a sample of dark 70% chocolate made from organic cocoa beans.
When his wife tried the chocolate she was overwhelmed by the delicious taste and was convinced that the chocolate would
be similarly adored by other chocolate lovers. They then set about producing the world's first organic chocolate - a high-quality,
bittersweet dark chocolate bar, with 70% cocoa solids. |
